The La Crescent Dog Park is located at 160 South 3rd Street – South of the Houston County Recycling Site.
Peyton Jerue, a candidate for Eagle Scout, took on the idea of creating a dog park as his Eagle Project. This exciting new addition to the City of La Crescent will create a long-desired space for residents and visitors to gather, socialize, and exercise their dogs. Peyton’s project was supported by a number of local businesses, individuals, and civic groups. The donated funds, as well as city funds, were able to turn a previously unusable space into a safe environment for dogs.
